MPR, the best national radio station in the country, played a speech given a fews weeks ago about Iraq.
It is an excellent presentation that makes sense of the Neo-conservative position, held by Cheney, Wolfowitz, and Rumsfeld. For those who are befuddled by what these guys are doing you will appreciate this presentation.
I do not agree with the neo-cons, but I understand what they are about and so it has made their actions easier to understand and converse about, and even easier to disagree with on particulars. I have been aware of it since the early 1990's. There views took over the Bush administration after 9-11-01. For those who have said, "these guys were planning to overthrow Sadam since before 9-11-01" are right, and there are ideological reasons for doing so. It was step one of a particular world view and this view was empowered by the attacks.
So if you are up for a listen, and can handle a description of a position from someone who does not hold it himself, and are willing to accept that people with whom we may disagree have a reason for their views, give it a listen.
It is at this link, played on December 20, in the second hour of midday and was called, "The Iraq war: run up and reconstruction".

Sorry guys i know this is not the best forum to ask for help but maybe there is somebody out there who understand something about Devisenhandel.
Well i read this article online about the forex being a good thing and all but i have heared that people get ripped off a lot.
This is why i am not asking this on a forex forum cause over there everybody will tell me that the devisenhandel is a great thing and all.
So my question is if somebody has experience with this here?
Thanks,
Marty

Thanks to Scot for that reference to the Commentary mag articles.
Also check out this excellent article from Sojourners that confirms what Doug is saying:
The Project for a New American Empire

Thanks for this.
"The removal of tyranny doesn't lead to freedom. It leads to chaos." Nice.

Doug,
The easiest and best way to comprehend the Neo-Con views, esp those behind much of the "Bush Doctrine," is to read Commentary magazine, a few issues back, esp the pieces by Norman Podhoretz -- one called Bush Doctrine and one called WWIV. No better way to figure out what they are doing.
